Yes, Emily did beat me at posting the same picture tonight, but I am going to one up her and post two.

With us being out of town for Christmas we haven't been able to spend much time with our friends. So it was great to get to spend some time with the Shelton's tonight. They had us over for dinner (which was so yummy...yay for Pioneer Woman and for Emily being brave enough to tackle her recipes) and games. Emily was the big winner for the night, it's always more fun when a girls wins!

Cael and Audrey were super excited to see each other tonight, it was to cute. As soon as we walked in the door Audrey told Steve that she loved him and I got lots and lots of hugs. It was a nice reunion!

Day 7....you doubted me didn't you Daniel???

Anyway, it's 11:54 and I officially have 6 minutes to post my picture. Good thing I looked down at the clock!

Today we had our first official play in the snow day! Cael had a blast and so did I. We just need more snow to play in...so bring it!

We also went to play Bingo tonight with some church friends. It started out as a Young Adult outing but we ended up including some of our "older" friends. We had blast even though none of us walked out any richer than we were when we walked in. I'm telling you...those Bingo people are crazy! Check out facebook for lots of pictures!

This is one of the best presents from our 2010 Birthday/Christmas season. It's has a keyboard/"mp3" player, microphone, turn table and a whole slew of other things. Check out how Cael is wearing his headphones, he wears them like this all the time. Cracks me up!

I'm cheating today. My new camera takes a different card than the one I have been using. We thought we were going to have to go purchase a new one but I happened upon a old one. Be still my heart. Here is just one of the pictures that was on that card.

It makes my heart hurt so bad that my baby is growing up so fast. I know I am suppose to embrace Cael growing up, but I really need time to stand still!

Please excuse the horrible picture that was taken by Steve's iPhone.

Funny side story, this morning I woke up and it was light outside. I thought to myself "I didn't hear Steve get up nor do I remember him kissing me goodbye, I must have really been out of it". I rolled over and there he was, sound asleep. It was 7:14, he gets up at 6:00 and leaves our at 7:00. Oops. I was on facebook earlier today and saw that someon

e posted a news article about iPhone alarms not going off after the New Year. Several of our friends said the same thing happened to them. So, note to self : Your fabulous iPhone really won't run your life for you!

Back to my picture today. This is pretty exciting for me! I have a fun package that says it will arrive tomorrow! I can't wait to show you what it is!

GRAPHIC PICTURE ALERT (I thought I would warn those of you who have weak stomach)

Please be patient with me as I figure out what is wrong with the layout of my blog, not sure what is going on. Hopefully I will have it all straightened out soon.

Some of you might have seen on facebook that Gus had a rough time visiting his cousin Guissey. Guissey had just gotten in from playing outside and wanted Marybeth to pay attention to her. Marybeth was standing up holding Cael with Gus was at her feet. MB was not giving Guissey the attention that she wanted and Gus just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Guiss bit Gus on his right front paw. You would have though Gus had just chopped his tail off the way he was crying. There was blood along with a lot more crying and yelping from my poor puppy. Every time he walked he would yelp until he finally figured out how to walk on three legs. He had the three legged run perfected (I am super sad I didn't get it on video, it was fantastic). The next day as we were leaving MB's house to head to Tim's she asked Steve if Gus was a wimp or if he really thought he was hurt. Steve told her that Gus is not a wimp and not much more was said. We made it to Tim and Beth's house safe and sound with Gus still running on three feet. Later that evening Tim asked me to come see him in the living room, I could tell something was up with his voice. This is what I saw...

Yeap, Gus' nail fell out. It was gross and VERY bloody. Thank goodness other people were there to handle it because I would have fainted. Poor Gus, no wonder he couldn't walk on his foot. As soon as we got the bleeding to stop Gus was up and running on all four paws. Every once in a while he will hold his paw a little funny. But for the most part little Gus is back to himself, only minus a toenail.
