March 17

Tonight my heart is hurting. I received a phone call that a friend from college died today due to complications from a pregnancy. She had a seizer yesterday morning and her husband took her to the hospital. As a result of preeclampsia they did an emergency c-section but Kylee ended up leaving this earth tonight. I simply do not know a person who loved people and God more than Kylee. She was radiant, inside and out. Kylee loved to love people, she loved to love Jesus and she loved to teach people about Jesus. She had an infectious spirit and I am a better person because Kylee was in my life....she made me want to be a better person.

Her husband Matt is by far one of my favorite people. Some of my favorite memories of college are the times I spent with him. We had some serious fun together! I simply can not imagine what he is going through right now. Please pray for Matt as he faces this life without his bride by his side, their new baby boy, and their three older children who's life will never be the same without their momma!

We went on a nice long walk today. Someone got a little tired and needed a lift.

March 15

So I am going to have to either start posting my picture earlier in the day or just get use to having to post some the next day. One day we will have two computers again (I hope!).

These shoes have been on my feet a lot lately. Steve and I started the Couch To 5k program last week. We are only a week in and the very little running I am doing is getting much easier. I am excited to see how well we do and how long it actually takes us to run a 5K.

March 14

Cael got to talk to Grammy and Pop Pop tonight, he loves talking on the phone to them and is constantly trying to get me to call them. Now, if only he would do more talking when we actually get them on the phone.

March 13

This would be our mantle, and on our mantle right now are three boxes of cereal. Raisin Bran, Froot Loops and Apple Jacks. Today Cael just kept bring us different boxes of cereal telling us he was hungry. He also tried to open each one of them. I told Steve we are going to have to move the cereal up to the top shelf in the pantry.

Maarch 12

Well, yet again the computer was being used well past midnight. So yesterday's picture is being posted today. I so don't like sharing a computer! Our friends Jon and Heather came over last night for dinner and a night of games. We ended the night with Heather and I watching tv and chatting while the boys played Heroes, Cael even got in on the action at one point (he LOVES Jon!) They played until "almost" one. I think they would still be playing right now if Heather and I had not put an end to it. Thank guys for such a fun night!

We have been Skyping a lot with my family lately. I love Skype!!!

Tara is on Spring Break this week so she came and spent the day with Cael and I. We ran some errands, ate lunch at Pizza Hut, came back to my house, read our book club book, talked (lots) and...get ready for it....took naps!! It was fantastic and we had a great time!

Audrey came and spent some time with us tonight. She and Cael both haven't felt well the past week, so all the did was cuddle together. It was way to cute!!

Yes it's Monday, yes this picture is for Sunday. That's what happens when you only have one computer and your husband is using it until 1am. And yes, we just took our outside Christmas decorations down.

March 6

It's our week for our family lunch tomorrow and I am planning a picnic at Washington Park. We are going to grill out, enjoy the nice weather (unless we get that 50% of rain they are calling for), and let the kiddos run off some energy. Everything is packed and ready to go, should be lots of fun!

Well I missed the boat. We went to a meeting at Pawnee tonight and are just getting home at 12:30 am. So technically it is already Saturday. Who knew a board meeting could go so long (you would think someone who herself has spent many many hours at very long board meetings??).

We went over to the Southards tonight for a spur of the moment hang out night. We laughed so hard so many different time. If only you could have seen Cael doing Karate during Abby's lesson. We also cracked up at how he at his apple...

Sorry about my absence yesturday. Cael woke us up Monday morning at 4 throwing up. It was hor.ria.ble! We spend Monday laying on the counch together doing nothing (except cleaning up his vomit). I felt so sorry our little guy. Thank goodness today was a better day. He was back to himself and enjoyed some time with "Gertie Girl", as Cael calls her.

March 1

We had so much fun this weekend! We went to a place called Monkey Joe's that was a blast. It was a huge room filled with 10 bounce houses/interactive houses. Cael and Wesley enjoyed it so much, as did the rest of us! We could not wipe this smile off Cael's face the entire time. Steve and I were reminded that our little guy isn't the "baby" that I want him to be. He is doing more and more "big boy" things..it makes me sad but is also fun to watch him as he explores this great big world of ours. (I will post more pictures and stories on my other blog soon)

February 28

We headed to St.Loius with the Sheradens for the night. We stayed at a Marriott and enjoyed their indoor swimming pool. The huge worm we found in the hot tub on the other hand....
